about Tinkerfest
Tinkerfest is a museum-wide celebration of hands-on learning, inventive thinking, and creativity, designed for children ages 0–12 and their families. Sponsored by GM, Tinkerfest offers world-class interactive STEAM experiences, activities, live demonstrations, and collaborative exploration, with stations throughout the Museum immersing guests in the maker world of tinkering. Alongside National Children's Museum programming, Tinkerfest features local and national partner institutions showcasing their own programs, giving guests the chance to engage with STEAM experts across a range of disciplines.
