what to expect
Any family with a young learner who would benefit from the following adapted Museum experience is encouraged to attend.
Before your visit, you’ll receive:
- a social story to help prepare for your Museum adventure; and
- a guide to our exhibits, with an emphasis on sensory awareness and tips.
During your visit, you can expect:
- fewer visitors in the space;
- designated break spaces throughout the exhibits, in addition to our Quiet Room and Hideaway Tree;
- free to borrow sensory bags and tools; and
- friendly faces of staff members throughout the exhibits, ready to support your family.
