From May 23 through September 6, young learners can engage in hands-on math, science, and engineering activities modeled after Curious George’s many adventures! From the farm to a construction site and even to space, follow Curious George’s lead and practice early STEM concepts to solve a variety of problems.

The Visiting Exhibit Hall serves as a space to showcase some of the world’s most innovative and engaging traveling exhibits, designed especially for children, ensuring that the Museum is constantly reflecting the world around us.

apartment building
use pulleys to move Curious George from window to window, then scale the fire escape, climb inside, and play with color, light, and shadow

sidewalk produce stand
explore shapes, sorting, weighing, and counting with fruits and vegetables as you run the neighborhood produce stand

construction site
design a building and get to work constructing different structures using a bounty of building materials and machines

mini golf
use pipes, ramps, funnels, turntables, bumpers, and force to experiment with physics and engineering as you putt through three holes of mini golf

farm
take care of the animals and using wind power to move yard art like whirligigs, windmills, windsocks, and wind chimes

space rocket
climb aboard the rocket Curious George took to space, then slide back down to earth
