diwali story time with sana hoda sood

Get ready to glow! Join DC-area author Sana Hoda Sood for a special storytime celebrating Diwali, the Festival of Lights. Sana will read from Stories of the World: Diwali, sharing the traditions, colors, and joy of one of India’s most beloved celebrations. Plus, a complimentary book is included with activity participation, while supplies last.

After the story, little artists will paint their own diyas, the traditional clay lamps families light during Diwali. Grab your brushes, pick your colors, and design a lamp that’s all your own!

Catch the reading at 10 am and 12 pm, each followed by diya painting.

Diwali Story Time is included with general admission.
