after-hours ice cream + pj party

I scream, you scream, we all scream for STEAM learning…I mean ice cream! On July 31, enjoy an ice cream treat as you play your way through our exhibits and dive into some special programs. Be sure to wear your favorite pjs, because who said learning adventures couldn't be comfortable?

Plus, we're hosting a PJ drive in support of the Casey Cares Foundation and any group that contributes to the drive receives a free ticket to the event!

• A contribution to the drive grants one free ticket to the event per group.
• In order to be eligible for donation, items must be new with retail tags still attached.
• Hey, members! While you can get into the event for free, a contribution to the drive allows your group to bring an additional guest at no additional cost!

Special programming:

• secret message doodles - Peer through a colored lens to reveal an image invisible to the naked eye. The trick lies in color science: when the lenses and background colors are the right shade the pattern vanishes, allowing your hidden doodle to appear.
• “ice cream” slime making - Explore chemical reactions to mix a fluffy ice cream scented soft serve slime that smells like your favorite ice cream flavor. Mix in “sprinkles” and top with a cherry. Not safe to eat so keep in the play zone.

This is a ticketed event, with admission of $18.95 per person ages 1 and older. Admission is FREE for members and children under 1.
