National Children’s Museum Announces Arrival of Two New Senior Staff Members

Critical departments for growth have gained leaders with careers dedicated to education.

WASHINGTON – National Children’s Museum, a learn-through-play institution in downtown D.C. that sparks curiosity through science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM) exhibits and programs, is pleased to announce the arrival of two new senior-level staff members:

  • Dana Bogle, Vice President of Education, Experience + Outreach
  • Stephanie Earp, Vice President of Advancement

"We are excited about our work ahead to continue to provide an extraordinary museum experience for children and families, broaden access in our region, contribute to educational practices, and help advance the field of playful STEAM learning. Strong leadership is required to achieve these goals, ” said Kiryn Hoffman, President and CEO of National Children’s Museum. “Dana and Stephanie each bring decades of experience and deep passion for the mission of the Museum, and we are lucky to have them on board to lead this work."

Dana Bogle serves as the Vice President of Education, Experience + Outreach at National Children's Museum. Over a 20-year career committed to PreK-12 education, Dana has served as a Teacher, Dean of Instruction, School Principal, VP, Leadership Development, and International Leadership Consultant. Additionally, Dana coaches new teachers as an Adjunct Professor with Iona College. Dana earned her bachelor’s degree from Franklin and Marshall College and her master’s degree at Bank Street College of Education. She is a certified School District Leader and is an alum of the Urban Superintendents Program with Howard University/AASA. Dana is a founding member of the LeveragED Collective and is a member of the Parent Teachers Association at her kids' schools. As a servant leader committed to excellence and joy in education, and with the neuroscience of education in mind, Dana seeks to innovate, design and lead initiatives that serve to enhance play and STEAM learning for kids and families. Dana lives in Maryland with her family.

Stephanie Earp serves as the Vice President of Advancement at National Children’s Museum, where she leads the institution’s strategic vision for fundraising and constituent engagement. With over a decade of experience in development, Stephanie brings a deep understanding of resource generation, donor relations, and engagement strategies that drive institutional growth and long-term impact. Before joining the Museum, Stephanie held the role of Director of Operations and Development at the American Swiss Foundation, overseeing key initiatives to strengthen partnerships and support. Previously, as Assistant Director of Donor Relations at Harvard University, she spearheaded engagement strategies for the Harvard Graduate School of Design, enhancing donor relationships to advance fundraising success. Stephanie holds a master’s degree in business from the University of Rhode Island and a bachelor’s degree from Bates College. She is passionate about fostering meaningful connections that support engaging and impactful educational initiatives. Stephanie lives in Washington, D.C. with her family.
