Dive into Fun with Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure! at National Children’s Museum

May 13, 2025
For Immediate Release

WASHINGTONWild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure!, an interactive exhibit based on the popular PBS Kids series, splashes down at National Children’s Museum this summer! Open May 24 through September 7, 2025, in the Museum’s Visiting Exhibit Hall, this exhibit invites young explorers and their families to learn about ocean habitats and the fascinating creatures within them through full-body, immersive interactives.

Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure! allows children to learn about marine life through the lens of the exciting, colorful world seen in the television show. With an inquiry-based approach, the exhibit inspires children to investigate and make observations, applying what they learn to complete missions. Using Wild Kratts technology, and the powers of science and teamwork, they join the Wild Kratts team to solve problems, help animals, and undermine the villains’ nefarious plans.

Aquatic creature adventures will lead guests through the “Seashore,” “Shallow Sea,” and “Deep Sea” habitats, including experiences like:

  • The Tortuga: Grab your creature power vest, meet the Kratts Team, test new technology, and get ready for missions at Wild Kratts HQ.
  • Miniaturizer: Shrink down to enter a tide pool environment where you can swim through an anemone, experiment with lobster vision, and more
  • Dolphin Decoder: Create your own “dolphin name” by building a unique sequence of dolphin clicks and whistles.
  • A Tooth for a Tooth: Work together to replace a great white shark’s teeth as quickly as they fall out.
  • Steer an Amphisub: Pilot a mini sub, navigate the ocean depths, and search for rarely seen creatures.
  • Super Sonic Surprise: Channel a whale's power to blast air and reveal hidden clues.
  • Digital Aquarium: Design your unique marine animal, scan it, and watch it come to life in a community aquarium.

The exhibit is targeted toward children ages 3 to 9 and their families. A Tot Spot provides a dedicated experience for children under 3.

Wild Kratts®: Ocean Adventure! is included in the cost of Museum admission. Tickets to the Museum are $18.95 for adults and children 1 and older and are free for children under 1 and Museum members.

Located at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW off the Woodrow Wilson Plaza, National Children’s Museum is open 9:30 am – 4:30 pm every day except Tuesdays.
