Meredith Hamme is the Vice President of External Affairs at National Children’s Museum, where she oversees brand development, marketing, communications, public relations, and strategic partnerships. With over ten years’ experience at the intersection of education, nonprofit work, and cultural institutions, Hamme has dedicated her career to serving children through high-quality learning experiences. Prior to her work at National Children’s Museum, she raised funds for Teach For America – Baltimore and is a former elementary special education classroom teacher. A Washington-area native, Hamme received her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies with a concentration in Museum Management from The George Washington University, where she was awarded the Marie C. Malaro Award for Excellence in Writing and Research. Hamme lives with her husband and daughter in Washington, DC.
