Washington Color School Workshop
We’ve reached capacity for this workshop! We hope you’ll join us for similar events in the future.
National Children’s Museum hosts its first live workshops with inaugural artist-in-residence, Tommy Bobo!
Join Tommy for a 30-minute, virtual program inspired by an art movement born right here in DC called the Washington Color School. We’ll draw inspiration from artists of this movement, including Alma Thomas and Gene Davis, to transform materials found around the house into iconic, bold statements of art! While this event is recommended for Dreamers in grades K-3, young learners of all ages are welcome to join!
Space is limited! We’ll be in touch with a list of necessary materials and access details ahead of the event. If you have any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
