At National Children’s Museum, we are working to ensure that all children can access the high-quality science, technology, engineering, arts and math experiences that will spark their imagination.
community membership programs
National Children’s Museum is partnering with local organizations that serve families to ensure the price of admission is not a barrier for any child. By partnering with libraries, food banks, women’s shelters, learning centers, and other community nonprofits that families know and trust, the Museum extends its reach and makes a greater impact.
Through the generosity of Booz Allen Hamilton and the Bainum Family Foundation, families will have access to shared family membership at 25 sites.
Amazon is sponsoring Museum access in Arlington County, Alexandria City, Fairfax County, Fairfax City, and Falls Church City. Families will have access to shared family membership at 20 sites.
We are thrilled to work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation on creating incredible connections and expanding learning outside the classroom. The foundation invested in the development of school field trip programs and is sponsoring 80 low-income classroom visits during the 2019-2020 school year.
