community access program
National Children’s Museum partners with trusted, local organizations to ensure the price of admission is not a barrier for the families they serve. Through this program, constituents of partner organizations who may otherwise be unable to attend may access free tickets.
We have paused ongoing enrollment for new Community Access Program partners. If you are an organization in the DMV area that serves families with low incomes and are still interested in enrolling in the program later this fall, please reach out to our team.

museums for all
As a proud member of Museums For All, National Children’s Museum offers discounted admission to families who are enrolled in SNAP/EBT, WIC, Medicaid, and other qualifying government assistance programs. Each qualifying family can redeem up to four discounted tickets, priced at $3 per person (children under one are always free).
Museums For All tickets are now available via the Walk Up line at our Admissions Desk. They are offered on a first come, first served basis and must be used during standard operating hours (9:30 am – 4:30 pm, every day) on the day of purchase. Please note, you may be asked to show proof of qualification upon redemption.
National Children’s Museum thanks the DC Office of the Deputy Mayor of Planning and Economic Development for its generous support of our Museums For All program.
If you have made a request through our former reservation system and received a confirmation email from our team, we will still honor your tickets for your original reservation date. Other museums participating in the nationwide Museums For All program may not be able to extend their discounted offerings beyond SNAP/EBT recipients.
