National Children’s Museum offers live virtual sessions for grades PreK through 5 with Museum Educators to extend virtual field trip learning. Virtual sessions of Climate Action Heroes are most suitable for young learners in grades 1 through 5, and virtual sessions of Head in the Clouds are most suitable for young learners in grades PreK through 5. summer camps + groups

We are currently accepting requests to deliver hour-long live extensions for summer 2021! Please fill out this form, and our team will be in touch to discuss availability.

Participants: We can accommodate between 5 and 25 young learners in each Zoom live session.

Cost: $15 per person, or $250 for a group of 25


We are no longer accepting requests for the 2020-2021 school year. If you would like to be contacted when we resume booking live extensions for the 2021-2022 school year, please express interest in the below form.

Climate Action Heroes—unite!

Dreamers will learn the difference between weather and climate, the effects of climate change, and the importance of using their climate action superpowers for good!

Note: Climate Action Heroes is an engaging viewing experience for all ages but is particularly meaningful for independent 3rd – 5th graders.

During this 20-minute video, Dreamers will virtually wander the Museum’s weather-themed exhibits, head outside to observe the sky, and explore cloud identification and basic meteorology principles.

Note: Head in the Clouds is an engaging viewing experience for all ages but is particularly meaningful for independent 1st – 4th graders.
