National Children’s Museum offers live virtual sessions for grades PreK through 5 with Museum Educators to extend virtual field trip learning. Virtual sessions of Climate Action Heroes are most suitable for young learners in grades 1 through 5, and virtual sessions of Head in the Clouds are most suitable for young learners in grades PreK through 5.

Climate Action Heroes—unite!

Dreamers will learn the difference between weather and climate, the effects of climate change, and the importance of using their climate action superpowers for good!

Note: Climate Action Heroes is an engaging viewing experience for all ages but is particularly meaningful for independent 3rd – 5th graders.

During this 20-minute video, Dreamers will virtually wander the Museum’s weather-themed exhibits, head outside to observe the sky, and explore cloud identification and basic meteorology principles.

Note: Head in the Clouds is an engaging viewing experience for all ages but is particularly meaningful for independent 1st – 4th graders.
