National Children’s Museum is open from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm every day except Tuesdays, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Note, we’ll close early on December 24 at 1:30 pm.

General admission for children 1+ and adults is $18.95 per person. Tickets for members and children under one are free.

important ticketing information
The Museum operates with hourly, timed-entry tickets. Please arrive within the hour of your reserved entry time. For example, if you purchase tickets for the 10:30 am entry time, we ask that you arrive between 10:30 and 11:30 am. Note that guests will not be admitted before their designated entry time.
The last entry is at 3:30 pm. Please be aware the Museum closes at 4:30 pm. If you would like to spend more time at the Museum, we suggest reserving an earlier entry time to give you more time to explore.
Advanced tickets are strongly recommended. Walk up tickets are limited and are not guaranteed. We also encourage you to reserve tickets for your entire party in one order, as time slots may sell out quickly.
Every Wednesday at 8:30 am ET, a new week of tickets will be released. Tickets are released 2 months in advance.
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to visit due to health concerns, you may exchange your tickets for a new date and time by reaching out to [email protected] in advance of your original ticket time.

group admission
Groups of 15 visitors or more receive a 10% discount on Museum admission and must fill out our group visit form. Booking is subject to availability, and larger groups should get in touch 4-8 weeks in advance of their desired visit date. Maximum of 100 tickets per group.
