summer field trip details
- field trips can be booked on weekdays (on Tuesdays the Museum will exclusively be open for field trips from 9:30 - 11:30 am); please refer to the booking calendar below for available dates and times
- the Museum can accommodate groups up to 175 including chaperones
- if you are interested in a workshop add-on, please contact our team at fieldtrips@nationalchildrensmuseum.org
- we recommend eating a snack prior to your visit; learn more about the dining areas adjacent to the Museum in our FAQ section
- field trips are not permitted re-entry to the Museum after leaving
- our minimum chaperone ratio is 1 adult for every 10 children; we recommend 1 adult for every 5 children, especially for children ages 8 and under
- adult chaperones receive FREE Museum admission

pricing
The rates below are available for field trips of 10 or more students. You will receive a field trip pricing quote based on your reservation numbers.
payment is due on the day of your field trip
Payment is based on actual student attendance.
$15 per student
free for chaperones
We recommend 1 adult chaperone for every 5 children. Please read more about our chaperone requirements in our FAQs.
