in 2012, the National Children’s Museum celebrated 100 years of Washington, D.C.’s cherry blossoms at the seventh annual kickoff to cherry blossom season. The free family festival offers hands-on activities, interactive art demonstrations, and exciting indoor and outdoor performances celebrating spring and Japanese art and design.
The National Children’s Museum has provided hands-on activities at Camp Miles for those participating in the Marine Corps Marathon’s Healthy Kids Fun Run, allowing children and their families to celebrate the great accomplishment of living a healthy and fit lifestyle!
Each year, 27 European Union Member States and independent cultural partners join together to host a month-long series of performances and workshops that showcase the different countries of the European Union. NCM is proud to have worked with several community partners in Washington, D.C. to participate in this unique multicultural event.
