Think about the first time you visited a museum. Now think about the first time you visited an interactive museum, where touch and exploration were encouraged. What did you learn? Who were you with? Did it change your interests? How did it inspire you to change the world? For 43 years, the National Children’s Museum (NCM) has been part of this story for millions of visitors. In its next chapter, NCM will provide every child with inspirational, exciting exhibits to spark imagination; be another remarkable piece of the cultural fabric on the National Mall; expand content to reach older children and serve the entire family; bring the latest innovation into context for young minds; and create a safe space and social community for local families and tourists to connect.

Through it's affiliation with the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM) Reciprocal Network, NCM provides families with a Family Membership level and above free access to nearly 200 other participating children’s museums around the country. Visit the ACM website to learn more.
